The Accountability Mirror does not lie

Today started off rocky, but I picked myself up and ended the day strong. Made a lot of mistakes, but that’s all the more to learn from.

Reflection

Something I Did Well

  • Spent 7 hours of straight focus on a school project
  • Broke study session into small achievable chunks that I got through one at a time
  • Did 3 cold approaches and had some good, some bad interactions

Something That Could Be Improved

  • Don’t eat dairy before bed. It wakes me up in the middle of the night ith a sore stomach every time and for the trouble of losing several hours of sleep and starting my day of the wrong way, it’s an awful tradeoff.
  • Don’t start an addictive tv series when you don’t have time to finish it. Save it for a weekend or day off, schedule it in, and then work hard during the week so you can reward yourself.
  • Finish every school project the night before, it’s more efficient. While you’re sleeping you can make new connections, and you can also get your questions answered by your teachers which is much more efficient than aimlessly google searching.
  • If you were had to, you could study for another 8 hours. Today I studied for 7 hours straight off less sleep than usual. This goes to show as long as it’s before 5pm I can do this every single day. Stop making excuses, break down the work into hour segments, show up and do the work.

Lesson From Reading: The Only Thing Between You and Your Goals is Time

Time is the simplest life hack to get you to achieve your goals. It’s easily measurable, and guarantees results. Show up for 4 hours of uninterrupted deep work every day, and you will fast track yourself towards your goals.
