No, to be honest I have no idea what Schmooz does and now, why should I care? You’re right — you“said” none of those things — but that’s what I (and many others heard) by the rambling tone of your article and, to be honest, the venting tone of the other articles that displayed right under this one told me all I needed to know. This is THE INTERNET. You’re the face of your company — it’s brand. And on the internet, it doesn’t matter what you say, it matters what people hear. And what I heard was you bashing (bitching, TBH) about something that many people have put a lot of time, sweat, money, and resources into. Then bashing companies — with CEOs — who you should be sponging as much information as possible off of. The #yesphx effort is by no way perfect — never will be. Nor is Silicon Valley. Nor are the startup scenes in Boulder, SLC, Austin, Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston, NYC, Vancouver, London. Trust me, I’ve seen them all. But writing an article like that for all to see WITHOUT OFFERING ONE SINGLE SUGGESTION other than “start more startups or be a better feeder” is insulting — not bold.
Yeah I didn’t say any of those things but i’ll address them anyway.
