Conservation and conservation have always been one of our core values. Earth Day is April 22, and this year we wanted to commit to being more eco-friendly than ever before. What better way than to dedicate a whole box to finding the best eco-friendly products out there? We put a lot of thought into each item in this box and are super excited to see what you create with it.

First up we have a custom made, SCIRBEdelivery exclusive ScoutBooks Recycle Me notebook. They’re made with 100% post-consumer recycled paper from American mills. That means there were no fresh trees harmed in the making of this notebook, and fossil fuels weren’t wasted importing this from another country. The cover is made with chipboard that is 85% post-consumer recycled content and 15% pre-consumer recycled content. We love the dot grid pattern on the notebooks, they’re perfect for sketching, bullet journaling, you name it! The ink is vegetable based, and presses and production are located in Portland, OR and are powered by renewable energy and done in one spot to leave the smallest footprint possible. If that wasn’t enough, for each notebook made a tree gets planted in the National Forest Foundation.

Next up is the Night Owl Dolan Moose pocket notebook. We love these notebooks for quite a few different reasons. First, we’ve never done a wood-grain cover notebook before and wanted to change it up. The wood used in the cover is sustainably harvested birch wood. These are great because they’ll give you a firmer writing surface for writing on the go. These are limited edition notebooks with some pretty sweet moose artwork by Dolan Geiman. The notebooks have 60 pages of unlined FSC-certified paper. The paper is 100% cotton and is 100% biodegradable and recyclable. The paper is made of reclaimed fibers from the textile industry.

We love the Blue Q Junk Drawer Pencil Case. We’ve talked about including a pencil case since the first box, so we’re excited to include it this month. This case is extremely durable and will help you keep all your new pens organized and protect them while you’re on the go! It’s designed by Marcela Restrepo and is made up out of 95% post consumer recycled material.

You’ll also find two Pilot B2P bottle pens, one with black ink and one with blue ink (you can tell by the color of the click to retract button at the top of the pen). As you can guess from the appearance, they’re made from recycled plastic bottles. If you shine a light on the pen at the right angle the shadow looks like a full sized water bottle! These were the first pens to be made from recycled water bottles, they’re made up of 89% post consumer recycled water bottles. If you run out of ink, you can refill these with Pilot G2 gel ink refills, and use it for even longer.

Next is the Zebra Sarasa Push Clip Gel Pen. We can’t say enough about how much we love this pen. When we got our hands on it, we knew why it has such a cult following. It’s got a fine 0.4mm gel tip that is smooth without being messy. It’s made of 75% recycled plastic, and has a handy binder clip to secure your pen to your notebook/ pocket/ binder. Trust us, you’ll love it.

Lastly we have the Pilot V5 Hi-Tecpoint Cartridge System Rollerball Pen. This 0.5 mm needle point pen gives you precision without the mess. It’s made of 71% recycled material, and is refillable up to 10 times with guaranteed smoothness. It’s the first liquid ink pen with a cartridge system. The window on the side let’s you see how much ink you have left, and give you a heads up for when you need to order refills.

For us, this month was all about intentionality. We debated and discussed each product at great length, and can say we love each product in this box and know you will too. We can’t wait to hear from you! Tag us in your pics and reviews @SCRIBEdelivery #scribedelivery
