Our purpose is to create the ultimate streaming service, a blockchain television that offers added value to both end-users and studio productions. To achieve this mission, we have built Script.TV with the latest cutting-edge technology and will be incorporating one of the hottest trends in the crypto space, non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

NFTs are digital assets stored on the blockchain. Each one is unique and different from the rest, hence why they are “fungible”, and ownership can be transparently proven, meaning those who own NFTs don’t need to worry about duplication or forgery.

We will be leveraging this technology and transforming the most iconic live tv moments, as well as cinema and live event tickets, into NFTs. To learn more about Script NFTs and their multiple use-cases, we’ve decided to create this article to present all the information to our dear community.

Turning the hype into something real

NFTs on the Script Network will represent special pieces of digital media, which users will be able to purchase, sell, and stake. Every NFT will have a direct connection to one of our movies, shows, or tv stations.

Through NFTs, Script can immortalize on the blockchain every historic video and television moment. Everything ranging from bloopers, breaking news, sports moments, and cult classic movie lines can be turned into an NFT.

After the launch of our NFT marketplace, users will be able to easily sell their NFTs or stake them and generate additional rewards over time.

Marketing NFTs

We will also be leveraging NFTs as a valuable promotional tool. The release of limited edition NFTs can be incredibly useful in promoting new movies or tv shows. Hardcore fans and investors will flock to purchase these NFTs and be amazed by their real-world use cases.

Our NFTs will work as cinema tickets, giving owners the rights over the opening screening of a movie, or offer exclusive access to fan communities and the chance to meet and hang with actors. This use case can be applied to any kind of live event, be it a music festival or a stand-up comedy show.

The Script.TV ecosystem will enable content creators and stations to mint their own NFTs, which can then be used to raise ratings and create a deeper engagement with audiences. During live streams and broadcasts, fans can be awarded NFT prizes by participating in different contests, giveaways, and quizzes.

Interoperability

Our network was built with Turing-complete smart contracts written in Solidity, the programming language of the Ethereum blockchain. Thus, users will be able to mint Ethereum-based NFTs and use our $SPAY token for reduced fees.

We are fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and have plans to add cross-chain capabilities, meaning NFTs from different ecosystems like Cardano, Avalanche, Polkadot, and Cosmos can be easily used within the Script Network.

Rejuvenating television

We aim to bring a new life into television and transform the whole viewing experience into something more engaging and rewarding. By bridging the gap between blockchain technologies and traditional media, Script.TV aims to transform the way we look at television from a social, entertainment, and financial perspective.
