While I agree many of these fallacies exist and are used every day - the problem is that *sometimes* when the statements are made, they are correct. A technology that is super-shiny-awesome… look at this cool “ToDo App” I made in 3min with next-to-zero complexity is great - but that doesn’t mean it will be the “best” tool for a massive enterprise application. (A case where ‘scale’ has a meaning, and it matters)
Differentiating between the “off-the-cuff” knee jerk reaction comments vs. the realities presented by someone very familiar with the scenario is key.
