As a science enthusiast and a NdT apostle I found the WIRED article appalling.

As a black man, however, I fail to see the “obvious racism”.

It seems very clear to me that the title was chosen for its symbolic power–especially considering that NdT made a career talking about the cosmos. I’d love to see an intentionally ambiguous reference to race beyond the title–I can’t find any.
