In the creative space of software development, we should also use conceptual mind maps in addition to checklists to give our brains the opportunity to identify tasks that aren’t on any of our checklists but still relevant to our situation. Checklist-level tasks that support higher-level concepts such as security, robustness, and performance will vary from one situation to the next.
