So the answer your question toward the end about being open-minded…I’m not preaching open-mindedness with this. I’m not telling people to be open-minded at all. That’s cool if they are, cool if they aren’t, I don’t care.

I’m saying own who you are, and that is not necessarily open-minded.

Separately, I consider myself very open-minded.

I still don’t like those poseurs. I gave them a lot of consideration, and I have come to my conclusion, my judgment, that they suck. They have made me feel bad, and made many others feel much worse.

At no point did I say that that’s ok, and that we should be accepting of people who make others feel bad, open-minded or not, in fact I’m arguing the opposite. Fuck those people.

But to your earlier points, yeah, there are awesome folks at Burning Man who let you “Burn” the way you want to, who do it the same way, you support everyone else…etc. There are amazing people there. I’m glad you met some of them, and I wish you kept in touch longer…perhaps next time.
