Grandparents like me enjoy a more relaxed role compared to parents. I offer love and support without the same level of responsibility and discipline. Grandparents can be a source of support and stability during challenging times in their grandchildren’s lives.
I have grandchildren in college, and I could help them with some things when they ask.
Seeing our family lineage continue through grandchildren brings immense joy. It’s a way of feeling connected to the past and future. It’s an opportunity to pass down cultural, familial, and practical wisdom so grandchildren can have a sense of purpose.

I enjoyed the love of my grandmother. It was not like any other love.
