The Stars in Her Eyes

The stars in her eyes,

Would shine brighter than ones in skies,

They twinkled with intelligence,

and kindness and rhymes.

They spoke of the dreams and wishes she had,

The power of her will,

and the strengths of her choice.

For nothing could break her,

Neither failure nor rejection or time,

For she knew what she wants,

In the back of her mind.

The road was not steady,

But steady were her strides,

One step at a time,

With a twinkle in her eye.
