When you find yourself using these words, whether it’s to beat yourself up or talk yourself into a day at the spa, it’s a good time to get mindful about the story you’re telling yourself.

I know this isn’t going to be popular, but instead of thinking in terms of self compassion, or self care, or self indulgence, it might help to think in terms of self leadership.
