Grafana Logs Panel with Loki and Promtail

We will look at the new Logs panel in Grafana 6.4, but we will first need to setup a data source that can read log files.

We will use the Loki Data Source with the Promtail client as the collector on the Grafana Server itself.

The requirements to follow and try the commands in this article exactly are to have Ubuntu 18.04, with Grafana 6.4.3 installed. If you want to know more about Grafana, then I run a course at my Grafana Tutorials website.
