Welcome to Sean and Sofia’s diary

Introduction

We, Sean Moon and Sofia Shen, are going to start sharing our lives. It varies from memories in Shanghai, which is the biggest part of our relationship so far to moments that we currently enjoy and we are going to have later in December. The original goal of running this blog is to continue our relationship lively and add spices to enrich our lives.

This was originally insisted by me, Sean, to try making a blog together and hopefully we both are going to enjoy and turn this into a wonderful place since we can not physically meet at the moment. The motivation of making this blog with Sofia was inspired by a thought of what is available for us to make our long-distance relationship more fun, enjoyable and memorable? Then I came up with this idea to make a virtual place to share our thoughts, experience and events that will happen through our times. So.. why not give it a try?

I assume I’m going to write most of the writings in English and occasionally in Chinese and maybe Korean and Sofia has her options of writing in Italian English, Chinese, Spanish or French whichever she feels like. She is like an octa-lingual person just so you know. Oh yes! I think I should introduce ourselves first before you get too frustrated.

Introducing ourselves!

Hi, my name is Sean Moon. I’m originally from Korea, from the south to be precise. I was born in Seoul and grew up until I became 16. Then, I moved to Canada and it has been 10 years ever since. So I am a multicultural person who possesses both Korean and Canadian culture embedded inside. I’m currently enrolled in Edwards School of Business at University of Saskatchewan in Canada. Lastly, but not least, I love learning Chinese language and culture!

Now, I would like to ask Sofia to introduce a little about herself and I hope she will not be too shy to say because it’s a virtual space available only for two of us, right? Thank you. Grazie!
