However, this time, the Russians would not be fighting some ragtag group of untrained militia, but the overwhelming combined arms of the US war machine; considering what would be the complete air dominance of any US vs. Russia engagements, their numerous artillery pieces would provide a rich target selection for Apaches, fast movers and standoff munitions. I doubt we’d even need any artillery, frankly.
