Well said. It is easier for tech journalists to write about objective facts, like screen size and camera mp, then to subjectively experience and relate that experience to others.

Apple has been slipping in the software department for a long time. Sure it looks good, but it’s buggy and janky. I am no texting teen, but I need to restart the Messages app at least once a day.

For me, I am OK with dropped frames so long as the thing is responsive. So I’ll keep using my 5s until they make it an unusable slog with an innocent software update.
