RENO 365 #2 -MISS TNT

This lovely lady was introduced to her airmen during WWII. She and all of her fellow ladies of the skies protected her boys, allowed each Air Force warbird to have an All-American pinup girl displayed on their nose cones as a reminder to all the men of exactly what was at stake, and of girlfriend's and wives back home who awaited their return at the end of this horrible war.

WWII NOSE CONE ART on the WARBIRDS

Photographed a few years back at the world-renown Reno Air Races: STIHL Championship Air Races, I couldn't take my eyes of this Woman of the Skies. Her name was Miss TNT, and she captured my heart.

How This Image Was Photographed & Edited

This image was shot in bright sunlight in the middle of a very sunny day. My original photo was a horizontal image of the entire plane. I thought MISS TNT needed to really show off her All-American beauty & assets, so I did some creative editing & used quite a few filters to get the eyes focused on her body & golden blonde hair.

About RENO 365 COLLECTION

RENO 365 is a project of absolute love for me. In my youth, I lived in the Reno-Sparks area, graduating as a Railroader from Sparks High. After a few years at the University of Nevada-Reno, my wanderlust took me from there to Sacramento, California, across an ocean to reside in Prague, in the Czech Republic, for close to decade, then continuing my Bohemian, traveler's life, I had stints also in Huntington Beach, California, very close to the ocean, a shift to higher elevations in Big Beat Lake, California then somehow I ended up in my own Green Acres, living on a farm in Hicksville, Ohio, a mile from Amish folk and the Indiana border.
