Nice article. I think there has been a big shift from Google search to Amazon when it comes to “I need product X for Y now”. Product reviews on Amazon are great and since many e-commerce sites have a horrible customer experience, Amazon fixes that problem. I have a hard time believing that Amazon (or Facebook) will replace or kill off Google since about 40% of users are still unaware Google serves them ad links. Google may not be as dominant now but they still have a big advantage when it comes to organizing content.
