In an article published by ‘The Hustle’, it was revealed that becoming a success through creating a mobile application is hard. Like, really hard. It turns out that people love using apps on their phones, but they don’t like downloading new ones. It turns out that over 51% of surveyed users haven’t downloaded a new app in a month!

As we get set in our ways, it’s hard for us to try something new. We are already so invested in the apps that we use that we don’t want to go through the learning curve of a new app.

In my opinion, it seems like the age of creating apps an becoming a millionaire is gone. It’s better to focus your energy on the next wave such as VR/AR, internet of things, or deep learning. Personally, I have been taking courses in machine learning through Coursera and Mathworks. These classes are extremely fun and have taught me something that I have never learned in school. I believe that artificial intelligence is the path towards the future and learning it early is the way to go.

Looking forward to the future, the possibilities are endless.
