It is a popular growing industrial center which has become home to some of the largest manufacturing facilities in the country such as the flour mill industry and the iron producing factory. 1. Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens

Built on 40 acres of land mass is this 11,000 square foot historical building. Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens is the largest botanical garden in the whole nation, it hosts hundred thousands of researchers and tourists annually. It features over 15 different types of gardens to scout through, with an attractive children’s interactive garden where kids of all ages can be involved in hands on exploration.

2. The Museum of the Confederacy

Here is the perfect place for all lovers of history to visit. Museum of Confederacy allows visitors to travel back in history. The museum houses numerous collections of civil war artifacts known in the country and from all over the world.
