Entitled millennials? More like hamsters in a wheel

Perhaps other countries are only catching up, but I was born in the early 1970s, and the pressure to do well in exams for us as teenagers was a lot greater than it is for kids in Ireland today. I still had nightmares about those exams many years later, and I was far from unique.

I would say kids have a much more balanced school life now than 30 years ago. More sport, less emphasis on homework, more creativity, less authoritarian treatment from teachers.
