Thanks for the response. I agree naming conventions will change. Some people in the work place get hung up on new trends and think it is some brand new concept of working when at least for me it isn’t but for some maybe.

I work in the same manner just as you mentioned with different naming conventions. One issue I have ran into is when putting together a tool kit which includes code for dev to use on new products, some ppl want to build/design the components i.e: a widget, table etc without seeing it in the context of a page.

We tried this before and in the end it looked not cohesive and actually not attractive. I believe in the beginning stage putting a site/tool kit together everyone needs to see the components/organisms in the context of the layout. From that once the elements are laid out and we see how they look on a page we then have the basis to design of those specs/atoms for different elements simply.

What’s your feeling on that?
