Kobe And Gianna Bryant’s Memorial Service Will Take Place On February 24 At The Staples Center
Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, made the announcement on Friday morning.
Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to confirm that a memorial service for her late husband and their daughter Gianna will be held at the Staples Center on the morning of Monday, February 24. Below the photo, which mentioned that more details are to be released, Vanessa highlighted that the date chosen to celebrate Kobe and Gigi’s lives held significance to her loved ones, as well as fans across the globe.

February (02) represents the number of Gianna Bryant’s youth basketball jersey, the date (24) represents one of Kobe’s retired jerseys, and the year (20) just so happens to reflect how many years Bryant played for the Los Angeles Lakers.
