Guide: How to Send a Secret Time Capsule
Here is a step-by-step guide to help you send your first time capsule to the future!
Now, let’s get cracking:
Step 1: Go to the official website https://secrettimecapsule.net
Step 2: The application requires a Keplr browser extension wallet. If you’re into the Cosmos ecosystem, you probably have it installed already. If not, please follow the this tutorial.
Step 3: Once wallet is connected, your personal profile page is displayed. The main wall shows all capsules received (sent by the user himself or by someone else). On the left panel is some useful information, among which the “community benefit”.
Pay attention to this one as it truly makes a difference maximizing capital efficiency!

Step 4:
How to send a text time capsule:
- Private or public — the default setting is “public”. Once opened, public capsules are visible to all, even without a wallet. “Private” capsules can be seen by the owner only!
Keep an eye on right side icons; they are responsive and change depending on your selection.
2. Send to — by default users are sending capsules to their future selves. If sending to someone else, enter the address and the capsule will appear on the recipient’s wall. (Name service will be integrated later as well.)
3. Out time — set capsule reveal date.
4. Message — enter the message in the designated area.
5. When all fields are accurately entered, click “Send Capsule” and let it fly to the future!
How to send a coin-containing time capsule:
- Private or public — the default setting is “public”, change it to private if you wish. Keep an eye on the icons; they are responsive and change depending on your selection.
- Coins — enter the amount of SCRT you want to send. The icon on the right will change.
Once capsule is opened, the coins and the rewards earned can be unbounded. Otherwise, they will continue to auto-compound and the owner will continue to earn rewards.
3. Transferable — this future allows you to send a capsule to someone, who doesn’t have a wallet yet. It is kept in yours, password-protected. Once a user enters the password it is transferred to their wallet profile.
Another use case is to save or hide a non-walletdependable piece of information in the blockchain. Again, it is to be claimed with a password anytime. (optional field)
