These are the trends that our team at Seedom have observed and why we decided to build a platform that brings people from all over the world together to revolutionize the future of philanthropy.
Here’s how the Seedom community will do that:
1. Seedom rewards you for giving
Seedom is an Ethereum decentralized application for raising awareness and Ether for charities in need while rewarding a single participant for their contribution and support. Bimonthly, a new active and demanding charity will be chosen to receive the majority of Ether raised.
Users engaging in an Ether-raiser tied to a specific charity are confirming their trust and support of the charity and their beneficial work by participation alone. Anyone that contributes, which could be a family member, a friend, or a coworker or even you, has a chance to win Ether from the community raised effort. We openly encourage those people to use the reward for economic development, social change, or any positive contribution to the world.
2. Seedom is inclusive and accessible
Each person that contributes to the community pool that directly benefits the chosen charity will have a chance to win a 35% of the Ether raised. The community pool is anonymous and open to anyone in the world who has an Ethereum wallet.
The cost of a single entry, including Ethereum transaction fees, will be globally affordable to allow those beneath the international poverty line of $1.90 (USD) per day to participate, with a minimum entry being less than the Ether equivalent of this amount. The more entries purchased, the higher the chances to win.
3. Seedom is secure and anonymous
The adoption of cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Bitcoin has grown and provides a secure way for supporters to donate charities in need. Supporters can do so without sharing personal data.
4. Seedom creates sustainable giving
Participating in the community pool is easy, affordable, and routine. Every two weeks the Seedom community will be aiding a new worthy cause, feeling a sense of belonging and contribution. At the same time eager to find out if their dreams will be fulfilled each time around.
5. Seedom is completely transparent
Transactions of Ether to the Seedom community pool are publicly visible and immutable, thus you can be certain the charity and anonymous winner receives the full amount.

Day 1: Charity is Announced
Day 1–8: The Seedom community can contribute Ether
Day 8–10: Open period for contributors to verify a winning entry.
Day 11: Ether is distributed to the selected charity and random winner
