How often have you heard someone make one of these comments?

I wish I had thought of that.

or

I could have done that.

These sort of statements are all too common. Everyone is amazed when something simple, something that seems inherently easy, goes viral or becomes a success.

It is not idea that makes these things a success. It is the execution and implementation.

You could have created the pet rock…but you didn’t.

You could have written that stupid song, “Friday”…but you didn’t.

You could have been the guy in Florida Georgia Line who never sings…but you aren’t.
