Goal of Life should be to Realize the True Self, Experience it and be in blissful state in all worldly conditions.
According to spirituality there is GOD is every living creature. It is just a suggestion…What happened to you was karmic account settlement from the past life. You are willing to forgive so that’s great. Take a book, pray to GOD whom you believe in to give energies to see all the beliefs and opinions you have for him. Erase it with repentance for any hurt you might have caused him. That will close your books altogether with that person, and will never be haunted by memories.
