SCCOC October Update

Welcome!

Welcome to the first of many updates from the SCCOC! For those of you not familiar with what the SCCOC is, we are a group of 9 members who have been selected to manage a $2.5 mil budget to make Pickle as great as we can. The group consists of 6 DAO members, and 3 Team members.

What we have done

We currently have two types of resolutions we vote on. Codified resolutions and Ad-hoc resolutions. Codified resolutions are rules we impose upon ourselves and the team, while Ad-hoc resolutions are typically one off votes for things such as a specific developer’s salary, or approval spending for a bounty. The two primary documents we have created via Codified resolutions are:

For Ad-hoc Resolutions our highlights are:

  • Selecting Secretary and Vice-Secretaries: Cipio for Secretary, and Cerunos and Clintos are the Vice-Secretaries.
  • Hiring both Bwar and MisterMard, Welcome aboard!
  • Voting on Cross-chain pickle distributions! We voted (2/3rds ETH, 1/6 Arbitrum, 1/6 Polygon)
  • Bounties for both marketing and strategies.
  • Team Bonus! The bonus details are here, and a bonus calculator is located here on the Bonus Calculator tab. We have a goal of $1 Bil TVL, and $50 Mil revenue. The bonus will start to kick in at 20% of this goal ($200 Mil TVL, and $10 Mil revenue). The bonus will increase as the team performs. This bonus has a time limit and will be judged on January 31st!

  • This spreadsheet will contain all of our votes for each individual resolution, other tabs contain directly approved spending, and a detailed bonus calculator.
  • The DILLDAO Repository on Github is the absolute best to read all the details on each individual resolution that passed.

Spending

Here is a list of Salaries for the month of September and October, as well as the planned payouts for the rest of the year for the team.

This is a summary of Pickle Finance by the numbers through October. Keep in mind prior to April we did not track individual transactions.

Where we are going

  • Hiring, Hiring, and HIRING! We need strong Solidity Devs. Do you know any one? Please DM a member of the team or the SCCOC. We will compensate individuals who refer people who end up getting hired!
  • We plan to release a stream of bounties, the details for this is in the work. We want a place where DAO members can contribute and be rewarded for it.

Wrap-up
