And I’ll ask this time, as you’ve claimed it before, why would evolution have a goal?

I guess I see it more as a perpetual avalanche than carefully placed dominoes.

And technology, hmm: a step towards timelessness, perhaps, and an expression of our complexity, absolutely, but it creates much of the illusionment from which we fall. I, for one, prefer a pared down and highly selective engagement, a clutter free clarity if you will, but maybe that’s from information, and one shouldn’t shoot the messenger.
