Ecosystem Airdrops: Thena.fi
Introduction:
As we approach the launch date with anticipation, we are delighted to unveil the first article of our “Ecosystem Airdrops” series. This series aims to disclose the specifics of forthcoming airdrops tailored for loyal users across various protocols. In this first article, we delve into the details of the Thena airdrop.
Why Thena?
Segment Finance aspires to cultivate a relationship with Thena on the BNB Chain similar to the bond forged between Sonne Finance and Velodrome (🚴,🚴) on the Optimism chain. This association can be briefly explained as “Bribing Flywheel.” Both Velodrome and Sonne protocols have thrived under this model, fostering exposure and mutual benefit. To strengthen our bond with Thena and its loyal users, we’ve chosen to airdrop $veTHE holders as a token of our esteem.
Eligibility Conditions and Distribution Method
A portion constituting 1.5% of the initial $SEF distribution, equivalent to 1.5 million $SEF tokens, has been allocated for Thena users. The distribution method and eligibility conditions are outlined as follows:
- The snapshot for the top 500 veTHE holders is taken. The allocated 1.5 million $SEF tokens will be distributed based on their respective holding amounts.
- Airdropped tokens will be claimable on our DApp upon launch by eligible wallet addresses.
- Half of the $SEF tokens distributed in this manner will have linear unlock (vesting) for 3 months. The remaining half of the tokens will be unlocked all at once at the end of 3 months (cliff).
- Eligible participants can claim their airdropped tokens within a four-week window following the launch. Unclaimed tokens after this period will be redirected to the “Community Incentives” pool for future Thena-related activities.
