Hi Michael, Instagram is primarily a visual platform, where the visual content you would upload is key. It is a highly highly popular platform, with high engagement rates at about 4% (much higher than what is seen on Facebook or Twitter). I wouldn’t recommend using it just because of its popularity if you don’t feel you have good visuals to share or your brand does not align with it. It is a great tool for relationship nurturing if you want to use it for your blog, but I wouldn’t recommend to take advantage of the whole character allowance. Remember, it is primarily visual.
