the difference between being alone and being lonely

These two words sound similar but there is a big difference between them. The meaning of both is completely different. Staying alone is someone’s own choice and even if it is not so, there is no harm in staying alone. Anyone should spend time with himself. You can be happy with it. Just look at some people, Sages and saints etc. like to spend their time alone and they get happiness from it. Being alone is a different feeling in which a person feels alone despite being surrounded by people. There is no option, no support, such a person always remains restless and stressed and he is not able to find happiness in his life, such a person feels alone all the time
