STORY OF FOUR SQUARES

We got a design challenge of arranging four squares in 24 different ways while expressing our few emotions.Honestly, It sounds strange but actually you can have a lot to say using just simple four squares.

In this design challenge ,I focused on the concept of order,community and calmness.

ORDER

Order is an arrangement of people/things in relation to each other according to a particular sequence,pattern or a method. A state in which everything is in its correct or appropriate place.

The Best arrangment of Order :

This four square arrangement is an appropriate choice for me because it is divided in four equal parts.It shows equality and how one should divide his/her life in a balanced manner.There are a lot of complications in one’s life but every person should follow some basic orders to reach a particular aim. Orders are meant to be followed at the right time and right situation.

COMMUNITY

Community is a small/large group of preople who have something in common such as religion, values or identities and who are socially interactive.People tend to define those social ties as important to their identity, practice and roles like their family,work and government. A community has people with different perspectives and beliefs yet they work together as a team.

Best arrangement of community :

This four square arrangement is an appropriate choice for me as Community always increases, it never decreases due to modernisation.It tells us how people with different sex , age , religion , culture , viewpoints , lifestyles are integrated into a whole.

CALMNESS

Calmness is the mental state of peace of mind being free from agitation, excitement, or disturbance. It also refers being in a state of serenity, tranquillity, or peace.It leads to relaxation during distraction and mental stress. Calmness helps in making better decisions in life.

Best arrangement of Calmness :

This four square arrangement is an appropriate choice according to me. Here all four squares are placed in such a manner that they are clearly visible which shows calmness.Similarly,our life should not be complicated, yet simple.Our life is full of confusion,yet a man should live a life full of calmness and create a atmosphere of peace.He is very focused and clear on making his own choices/what he has to do.

Constraints :-

1 : Only four squares can be used.

2 : It is restricted to use only a black square.

3 : Squares should be placed in a square only.

4 : It should be a perfect square.

5 : No object other than squarec should be used.

6 : Combination of squares should describe various emotions.
