5starts alum ChillBill raises six-digit Seed investment

ChillBill just announced they raised a six-digit Seed investment. Online SaaS ChillBill offers automatic bookkeeping for SME and a white label solutions for audit firms.

Strategic investors RelaxTax, a consortium of the pioneers of digitization in accounting (including eCounting Graz, Ecovis Austria, Europa Treuhand, KE Steuerberatungs GmbH, SOT Süd-Ost Treuhand, Mader & Kleinschuster Steuerberatung, Grossek & Partner) and business angel Klaus Müller, former Industry Head at Google, jointly invested in the start-up venture.

We know from our own experience that digitizing the processes in tax consultancies to electronic workflows is a major change, yet a necessary step for the industry. Without digital competence, managing a modern accounting firm is no longer possible. ChillBill helps tax consultancies and their clients to implement necessary changes simply and efficiently.
Johannes Pichler, Managing Director RelaxTax

Müller previously invested in Wikitude.

The innovation and the founding team of ChillBill immediately convinced me as a business angel. They solve a clear problem for a large target group. I look forward to opening up new markets through online marketing.
Klaus Müller

Speeding up product development
ChillBill plans to use the investment for Product Development and Sales.

We will introduce the first parts of truly automatic bookkeeping by the end of the year. To that end we hired a technical mathematician who will improve our machine learning and an UX developer to make ChillBill even easier to use.
Clemens Helm, Co-founder & CEO ChillBill
