Attention early-stage startups! Apply now to the third batch of the 5starts incubator.

The 5starts incubator goes in its second year.

5starts is sektor5’s homegrown incubator programme that invites selected startups to a 5-months-“scholarship”, during which they can truly focus on advancing their product and idea. You may have heard about 5starts in Futurezone and ORF Eco.

Dedicated mentors and experts in the fields of Prototyping, User Experience, Marketing, Sales, Branding and Product Development will oversee your progress and help with achieving your goals.

5starts organises individual workshops, trainings and hackathons, offers access to sektor5's valuable alumni-network and investor eco-system, as well as valuable perks for each of the incubator members.

Who are we looking for in our third batch?

  • 5starts wants to give early-stage startups the opportunity to grow and reach a stage where they are market-fit and investment-ready.
  • We love FinTech, SaaS (Software as a Service) and AdTech.
  • You have to be ready to commit to the programme for 5 months, from January 2017 until June 2017.
  • The deadline for all applications is 15 November 2016!
  • International applications welcome!

Founded in 2016…

5starts was founded in January 2016 and has already helped eight early-stage start-ups (among them ChillBill, Vienna Würstelstand, handcheque, pagestrip, ExtraSauber and Folyo) to achieve their very individual goals through the hands-on incubator programme.

…2017 will be even bigger.

In 2017, more than 20 early-stage start-ups will receive € 50.000,- in funding in total. € 20.000,- will be given out in direct funding, as well as € 30.000,- in program services and infrastructure funding. 5starts takes a 7 % equity share in return.
