ChillBill secures FFG grant, intensifies marketing & sales in Austria
ChillBill announced it secured the AT:net grant, a subsidy by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and Federal Government. ChillBill plans to use the grant to introduce a new branding concept with a strong focus on video-marketing, to intensify online marketing, and direct sales.
Online Software-as-a-Service company ChillBill offers automatic bookkeeping for SME and a white label solutions for audit firms.
The AT: net program promotes the launch of digital applications and digital products as part of its “promote digital innovation” initiative. Starting from an existing prototype, the program supports the market introduction phase up to full commercial operation.

In March this year ChillBill announced they raised a six-digit Seed investment from strategic investors RelaxTax, a consortium of the pioneers of digitization in accounting, and business angel Klaus Müller, former Industry Head at Google.
Austrian success story
ChillBill participated in the first 5starts batch and graduated Summer 2016. ChillBill was awarded Best FinTech start-up Austria in the 2016 Central European Startup Awards and joined the 2017 Go Tel Aviv program organized by the WKO (Austrian Chamber of Commerce). In 2016 ChillBill already received a €170k research grant from the FFG.
As a result of winning the May 29–30 Bankathon and in addition to €5.000 prize money, ChillBill got to present at the Amplifier stage at the Pioneers Festival. Thursday May 8 ChillBill presented at the fifteenseconds festival alongside handcheque — another 5starts alum.
ChillBill recently moved into a new office in Vienna to accommodate its team of 10, and will count up to 15 people over the course of the summer. In early 2018 ChillBill will set its first steps in Munich, Germany.
