This week I became a member of a private basecamp for contributors to the social brand, @HealingMelanins, that uses its platform to break the stigma around mental health awareness by encouraging women of color to share their story.
Each day, the community leaders ask questions to encourage us to open up and share.
Today, I finally took them up on their offer. Enjoy, comment and please share!

What did you work on today?

Peace Queens!
Today I worked on an application for an incubator program for females of color ran by the Harlem Business Alliance, and will use it as the foundation for my business plan.
I also organized all my certifications as a health coach/professional, and submitted them to a company I hope to partner with.
I also had a big “break every chain” moment where I acknowledged and accepted where I went wrong in a situation, and didn’t beat myself up or ruminate about what went wrong.
For once, I actually received my carelessness as a blessing and reminder that I need to do everything in my power to boldly step into my purpose. This reminder catalized me to take the aforementioned actions, and I couldn’t be happier!
I want to thank you Queens for cultivating a community that is designed to support us as we transition into using our platforms to tell our stories of everyday triumphs over our mental health challenges!
Cheers to Health, Wealth & Happiness!
