Your Mindful Holiday Checklist

The summer holidays are about to begin and for those of us with young children, this means we may be needing a little bit more patience!

So, be sure to pack these mindful ways of ‘being’ along with the SPF:

  • Be grateful — Yes, even when it’s raining!
  • Be curious — Take a look at things through ‘new eyes’ (learn from the kids on this one)
  • Be calm — Take three deep breaths when you need to re-set (there’s always time to breathe!)
  • Be patient — Even after the millionth time you hear the word “Mummeeeeee!!!”
  • Be daring — Go on, do something that you normally wouldn’t do.
  • Be amazed — It’s a pretty incredible world out there…

Remember, the summer is a wonderful time of year, it won’t be here forever so make the most of it, be mindful and be sure to enjoy (not endure) the holiday months.
