Loving someone doesn't mean you have to be in a relationship with them. Sometimes, we love someone without any intentions to be in a relationship with them. Instead, we wrote about them⸻ we talked about them. We're happy to see them happy. We care. We love.
Being on their side when they need it. Being the crying shoulder to them. Being their 'best friend', being their safe space and comfort.
And when we say love, it's not all just about those romantic love. It's everything. It is what makes us connected to each other and the people around us. Its a feeling we felt for someone, for everyone. For our friends, family, neighbors or even strangers.
how i see "unconditional love" is⸻ it's loving someone without expecting in return. You just choose to stay. You just choose to love them. To be with them or to secretly love them in a way you can. It's simply "i love them because i love them", that's it. I'm not expecting them to love me back, but at the end of the day, I would still choose to love them all over again.
If someone would ask you what is love? how do we love? What it feels to love and to be loved? How you define it? How do you show?
For me, I think it’s a feeling we can’t control and sometimes we can’t explain. We don’t even notice sometimes that we love that unexpected person at the most unexpected time.
Do you believe in "right person in the wrong time"?
For me, I don't really know if i would. Because i think, there's no wrong time when the person is right for you. When the time is right, we will meet and get what is ours. Maybe you met that person for a lesson you both need to learn. All the people we meet in our lives are either a lesson or a blessing. Either helps you or breaks you.
Sometimes, we see our future with that person, but at the end of the day, it's not them⸻ and all we have to do is to accept. Accept? It's hard, right? We thought it was really them but they are just there in a short period of time, they are not for a lifetime. But we have to. We have to accept the fact that we can't please everyone to stay. We just have to move forward. The right person will come. It will.
"Don't find love, let the love find you". Love will come in some unexpected times in our lives. But remember this, "kung handa kanang mag mahal, kailangan handa karing masaktan". Heartbreaks are part of loving. Love is not always the happy ending we all wanted. It's crazy. It's unpredictable. It's the best feeling yet, it's also the worst.
I hope we'll find love we all deserve. To be loved and to be in love. :)
