Review of the best-selling novel by Emily Henry
The story comes alive around p. 230. Before that, it felt formulaic — another romance with predictable characters I didn’t care about. “… then it all clicks, the bits of Charlie I’ve been collecting like puzzle pieces becoming a full picture.” Nora and Charlie become credible and engaging, and their love story is fun. But the parallel plot dealing with the relationship of Nora and her sister Libby felt overblown.
