Assignment #1

Give the class access to videos of a sport they are unfamiliar with (e.g., cricket, rugby, curling for American audiences). Based solely on those videos (citing particular instances), they must derive the rules of the game as well as winning tactics and strategies.

Assignment #2

Have the class read selected original works of history (e.g., Herodotus, Thucydides, Livy) and have them derive the laws and common practices of that time and place, as well as winning tactics and stratgies for political and/or economic success.
