Review of poetry collection by Lee Woodman

Poetry without metaphor.
What is
is
a vision shared,
caught me by surprise
while rocking on a porch
in New Hampshire.

Your New Hampshire was not mine.
Everyone lives in a different one.

Let’s swap eyes, for a while,
so I can see yours,
and you mine.

And we’ll be sharecroppers
lending each other a life
at harvest time.

List of Richard’s other book reviews, stories, essays, poems, and jokes.
