Imagine using a cellphone app for the exchange of personal information. You select the level of information you want to share. For instance,

• business

• friend

• acquaintance

For each level, you predefine the kinds of information you want to provide, and you pre-enter that information. The exchange can happen in person or at a distance, perhaps even during a remote meeting like Zoom.

You turn on handshake mode and invite the other party. If the two of you agree with the level of contact, the info is exchanged.

In person, you could point the camera of your phone at the target person to identify infocard members by facial recognition and to initiate a handshake. And you could choose if and when to be open for recognition and for handshake requests.

This app could also have levels for flirting, dating, etc. And the contact/exchange could take place discretely, with no sound to indicate that it was happening. Info regarding who you have contacted and at what level and what information was exchanged could be kept private.
