Review of the book by Brian Greene

At times poetic and inspiring, daring to range beyond the realm of physics, in which he is renowned, to speculate on mind, religion, all aspects of existence, in a noble attempt to put them together in a narrative about all that is known about the history of the universe from the beginning to the end.

This book lacks the hard-science depth of his previous books, except in his treatment of entropy, which apparently is far more complex and important than I had ever imagined.

Lots and lots of sizzle. Reading this book was an unforgettable experience that left me hungry, rather than satisfied, wanting a far more complete explanation of life, the universe and everything than is possible today.
