The premature death of Transportation as a Service in India and why we may not skip car ownership…
Asif Ali

I sold my car and simply used Uber /Ola for a few months. I had absolutely no issues. No tension/fuel/insurance/maintenance/depreciation/parking woes etc. However, one night I had to take my second kid to the hospital due to a medical emergency and I then had no ola/uber coming to my rescue. I had to walk to the nearest hospital carrying my kid. That is the only reason I picked up a car. Hopefully things will be better in the days to come when we can rely on these guys.
