What’s the difference between a Popstar and a Rockstar?
Rockstars are mostly people who write their own songs and even play an instrument while performing, they are brutally honest in nature and a lot wild; Whereas, Popstars are people who do not always write their own songs they do put on a crazy show though. Rockstars make history, Popstars make news. Rockstars don’t usually get sold while Popstars get a lot of recognition probably because they are made to be sold, they’re more commercial.
Popstars are so glam and they have to be perfect at all costs, everything properly scheduled always have to be ready to put on a good show, they’re basically an epitome of perfection; on the other hand, Rockstars are imperfect, they always compose a wild story and eventually go down in history, they do not hide their flaws behind colors and costumes and props like Popstars, they have to give off positive energy all the damn time.
How do you think people treat you as? A Rockstar or a Popstar?
You see, if people treat you as Rockstar then you know that they actually see the real you, they understand you, they ignore your flaws whatever they might be. Rockstars don’t have it easy, they never like doing anything that they might be forced to do or pretend to be someone, Rockstars are just brutally honest and they always hold onto their stories and ideas. When people treat you as a Rockstar and if you really are one then they truly love you, love your company, they pay attention to details and the beauty of things around you. If you are a Rockstar of a person you definitely are either a poet or a poetry.
If people see you as a Popstar then you should know that all your life you are going to be portrayed as this person they want you to be. You will be controlled and always told what to do and how to present yourself. Sometimes when you become a Popstar of a person the covers and glitters are put so much over you that you lose yourself in there, and you should know the fact that glitter is very hard to clean. Popstars (most of them) are not their own person, they are people who are made by other people. If you were to be a Popstar of a person or treated as one, then you’re never going to be the captain of your own ship. As a Popstar of a person your flaws won’t be easily ignored, they are going to be stolen away from you.
Be either, a Rockstar or a Popstar of a person, you will still and always be VALID to other people, the only question you have to ask yourself here is that, if you are valid to your OWN SELF…
