Congressman on intelligence committee predicts Trump aides will ‘end up in jail’ over Russia ties

Nice try ThinkProgress. It’s too bad that your fake news organization’s attempt to elevate Rep. Joaquin Castro’s salacious comments into a diversionary headline is contradicted by statements aired two days ago by the House Intelligence Committee’s top Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff. When asked if there was any evidence of Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 election, he stated;

“I don’t think we can say anything definitively at this point. We are still at the very early stages of the investigation.”

Rep. Castro’s public announcement of his prediction of the outcome of the investigation, before any witnesses have been seated or evidence submitted, only serves to demonstrate his clear bias in the proceedings.
