So, we all took off on a rocket that is being completed during the flight. Everything changes unpredictably and defies the laws. Forecasts do not come true, anxiety and burnout devour people, and the paradigm of success is changing. Scientists work for pennies, and making faces on TikTok brings millions. There are new cryptocurrencies, varieties of viruses and professions.

No one knows what will happen and how to live on. So why is planning still a strong tool if you cannot waste time on it in such conditions? Maybe it’s worth giving in to the wave of changes and catching luck by the tail? You remember that our brain does not like this approach. It wants to know everything and enjoy certainty. But that’s not the main thing. The main thing is that our goals determine our behavior.

We plan goals in order to experience the conscious process of forming our intentions. It helps to build a path from the very foundation of your motivation. Your values and beliefs. This is how passion appears, which gives interest and energy. This way your attention is directed to really important things and saves energy from being dissipated.

The absence of a planning process is a direct road to failure. If you do something, somehow, somewhere on a whim, then the result will be some kind of incomprehensible, unnecessary. If it will happen at all. Planning gives control. Although at a certain interval, but you do not need to think about what to do, every time experiencing stress.

You follow the plan, understand the priorities and possible ways. If you are having difficulty with planning and don’t know how to approach it, then stop and pay due attention to this skill. Planning is not a task written on a sheet, it is a way of thinking. Ignoring it, you just complicate your path and generate even more risks. It is better to spend time studying and practicing planning than constantly fighting chaos.

Don’t plan in your head. Use paper, whiteboard, or programs. Anything that will help shift plans from your head to a physical medium. Limit yourself to methods and templates for filtering all stages of planning. When you feel your rhythm and planning step, the process will become automatic. Try it until you feel that manageability appears, and plans are being implemented.

When you see this, you will feel that everything is possible, and you are capable of more. You will get your own proof of the benefits of the planning process and will already think completely differently. You will understand that it is possible to dream rationally. When you use motivation from your desires and apply directed efforts with the help of goals. Through planning, you move from experiencing desire to striving to achieve a goal. Of course, there is a set of specific actions and intermediate steps that will lead to a result. Such a process is more natural, eco-friendly and comfortable than self-abuse and “achievement”.

Also, do not forget that goals are not signed in blood once and for all. We are changing, and goals also need to be updated. Check the relevance of the goals and adjust them. Hone your planning skills and optimize the process so that it becomes easier with each iteration. The processes of analysis and planning make up half of the ability to achieve goals. Therefore, if you start planning correctly, you can change your life.
