The main idea is very simple. You are the one and only manager of your life. You are at the helm and the dashboard, you decide what it looks like and what tasks it solves. You are the only responsible person who achieves results in any situation. You set the vector, control the movement, pace, monitor deviations and correct the direction, keep the situation under control, analyze the consequences, make decisions and organize people.

Deadlines, quality, resources, the content and structure of cases, communication and processes of the organization should become your glasses through which you look at any situation, problem, task or goal. Management is a science and an art at the same time. There are no magic pills and universal solutions in it. You will have to configure your system yourself and choose the boundaries. From strategic goal setting to task management. Managing any project is uncertainty, problems, difficult decisions and pain. To get great results, you need to take control into your own hands and overcome obstacles. A strong manager is not afraid to do this and takes responsibility for achieving the goal.

My favorite moment in mentoring is when a person begins to understand and accept responsibility. Then the level of maturity of a person goes to a completely different level. I remember how one of my most successful mentees, Marina Ostroukhova, was initially afraid of ambitious goals, and today she has a personalized sticker in Telegram: “When I say ‘it will be done,’ it means it will be done.” We can’t control everything, but we can control our actions. The management system helps to ensure control and implementation.

Moreover, it helps to take responsibility, as it reduces the level of anxiety before the unknown. To organize your management system, choose any tools that create a manageable structure and help the system keep the goal in focus, prioritize, make decisions, coordinate information, control the process and minimize resource costs. Improve your system until it becomes a natural and reliable operating system of your system life.
