Tools for a Stewardship Mentality
What’s the meaning of Stewardship Mentality, you may ask?
On the dictionary?
“Is the responsible overseeing and protection of something considered worth caring for and preserving.”
For me? To make sure I do the best I can to learn what they didn’t taught at school:
- That the way we live our lifes interfers with the planet’s balance and questions our future existence in the long term. And that WE’ve gotta change. That the human species has been living as a parasite to this planet. Which is our home. And the same way, we grow trying to balance our existence with the others, with money, with food, our bodies, we can surely add the planet to our Loved One’s list.
I want my kids to have a healthy planet to look forward to raise their kids in. Instead of being scared, as I frequently feel about what will happen if we don’t change our ways.
As I’ve learned with the Racing Extinction Movie, “In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught.” (Baba Dioum, 1968.).
So, for the ones, that as me, worry about the future, and want to contribute in any way we can from our unique views. Let us gather our voices, and share what we learn along the way. Let us leave it better than we found it.
With a Stewardship Mentality.
“It’s ok to think ahead.”
