Sparkle

When I find myself smiling

Gasping for breath at the heart starved desire of you

In all the moments between moments

The memory of your lips still causes the small fireworks

Everywhere I look

That dazzle and thrill

With the heat and the glow

And my tiny sputtering candle bursts to fast flame

And I’m sure

As the vertigo spinning world assures

That until the moment when that word isn’t lunacy

It is Sparkle
